Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia Railway is a short line railway operating in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. CBNS operates (245 miles/394 kilometres) of main line and associated spurs between Truro in the central part of the province to Sydney on Cape Breton Island. CBNS is owned by Genesee & Wyoming Inc.
Upgrading the 126-mile Sydney RR sub-division is a important component of the Novaporte project. All of the tracks and significant sidings from Port Hawkesbury to Novaporte are shown on this map. The 116-mile Hopewell RR sub-division is also shown, running from Truro to Port Hawkesbury.
